The People’s Choice Awards — the long-running, entirely fan-voted celebration of movies, TV, music and pop culture — last handed out trophies at its 49th edition on February 18, 2024, hosted by Simu Liu at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica and simulcast on NBC, E! and Peacock. No ceremony was staged in 2025 or 2026.
In 2026, E! announced that the show will return in 2027 as the 50th People’s Choice Awards, reviving the fan-driven format across film, television, music, reality, podcasts, social and more. Any “2026 People’s Choice Awards” nominees slate you may see elsewhere is not an official ceremony.
